MediaUtopia Keys is an iPhone and iPad keyboard extension that lets you create your own keyboards.

It contains three keyboards:

1.) A FULL Unicode keyboard that contains all of the Unicode characters that are curently suported on iOS. Thats every language, every symbol, every dingbat. However, with all of those keys its a hassle to scroll through them all.

2.) A Standard keyboard that has all of the standard letters, numbers and symbols on a standard US keyboard on a desktop computer, with a QWERTY layout or an Alphabetic layout. It also has Circled letters in uppercase and lowercase, and each of the following in uppercase only: Squared, Filled Squared, and Filled Circled.

3.) And the best part: A keyboard that is fully customizable with eight layouts! Just use the Full Unicode keyboard to type whatever characters you want for each of the layouts. However many rows of keys, however many keys per row, its up to you. You can create whatever keyboard you need with any symbols you want, as long as its supported by Unicode in iOS.

Another major feature of all of these keyboards are the control keys on the bottom row. Ever have difficulty moving the text insertion point with your finger? There are left and right arrow keys to nudge it. Those keys are followed by a Tab key, the Space key, both a backspace key AND a delete key, the return key, and a hide key.

Instructions:

Touch each of the numbered buttons on this screen to see and edit the data for that keyboard. The first line of each one is the name of the keyboard. Dont give it too long a name, or it wont fit on a button.

On each line after, type the characters to put on each key. do not separate the characters with commas or spaces- any commas or spaces will count as keys themselves! Each new line is a new line of the keyboard. The more characters per line, and more lines you create, the smaller the buttons will be.

There is no stated maximum or minimum number of rows or keys per row, just realize they will get very small if you try and squeeze in too many.

To turn on the Keyboards:

1.) Use the Home button to exit this program.
2.) Launch Settings.
3.) Touch "General" then "Keyboard".
4.) Touch "Keyboards".
If you see the "MUKeys" keyboards listed,
you are done! If you do not:
5.) Touch "Add New Keyboard...".
6.) Touch "MUKeys".
7.) Turn all of the keyboards on.
8.) Touch "Done".
9.) Touch one of the keyboards on the list.
10.) Turn "Allow Full Access on".

Thats it, and now all of the MUKeys Keyboards will be available in every app that takes text input.

NOTE:
MediaUtopia Keys is a keyboard extension for the iPad, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6 Plus. While it will install and run on some older iPhones, the buttons will be very small, and hard to press without a stylus.
